I am a Mental Health Practitioner working towards my doctorate in counseling psychology. I received my master’s degree in Professional Counseling at the University of St. Thomas and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bemidji State University.

At Twin Cities Mental Health & Couples Center, I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience providing therapy to children with behavioral disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also work with individuals on the spectrum from childhood to adulthood. I have experience providing trauma-focused therapy with adolescents, adults, and families using a person-centered approach. Additionally, I provide support to couples/adults to help them understand their roles in relationships as well as assisting them in creating healthy boundaries for a more fulfilling relationship.

I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, with an interest in existential perspective. When working with all ages, families, or couples, my goal is to create a space where I can provide support, psychoeducation and teach skills to allow clients to gain confidence, independence, and life-lasting change.

My clinical areas of interests include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, personal growth, self-esteem, coping skills, romantic and non-romantic relationships, divorce and separation, parenting styles, family conflict, cognitive distortions, and behavioral issues.
