Kafalyn Ngaima, Master's Level Practitioner Marriage & Family Therapy
Hello! I'm Kafalyn Ngaima, a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapy Intern committed to guiding individuals, couples, and families towards holistic well-being. With a foundation rooted in systemic models such as Narrative Therapy, Bowens family system's, and Emotional focused Therapy , I provide a nurturing and inclusive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology from Iowa State University, followed by a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. Currently in pursuit of licensure, scheduled for completion in August 2024, I am deeply committed to helping clients harness their inner strength and resilience.
I warmly welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community, and offer a compassionate approach to addressing a wide range of concerns, including spirituality, grief, and couples' infidelity etc. My therapeutic style emphasizes collaboration and empowerment, ensuring that clients feel empowered to shape their therapy journey according to their unique needs and aspirations.
In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences and work towards positive change at their own pace. I am passionate about assisting clients in taking control of their lives and achieving greater mental and emotional well-being.
